I always take dedicated photos for the siblings post, like always, but at the risk of sounding like a broken record I have been a bit poorly the last few weeks which is still lingering and I literally completely forgot it was the middle of the month already. As I sit to write this it is already well into the 15th and I have been prompted purely when seeing others shared on social media, so yeah, I simply do no have time.
As I rode steadily along the country lanes, my legs repeating the same cycle of motion over and over again with ease almost instinctively despite the years it has been since I was last on a bike. Nothing but an expanse of colourful fields as far as the eye can see with just a slight hint of another family disappearing over the brow of the steep hill ahead.
May has gone by in a flash and a blur of so many sunny adventures it has definitely been one that has been good for the soul with lots of family time. We have had two bank holidays, a long weekend away and a half term to boot with a cycle ride and trip to York. I think with the arrival of the sunshine and promise of more outdoor adventures to come it might just have been my favourite month so far. Permanent 4 day weeks anyone?
