Come as a word!? Because having World Book Day is not enough, schools occasionally love to throw a spanner in the works just a few weeks before the big day. If you know me and my children you will be aware that in the passion of it all we are usually already planned and full of World Book Day ideas thank you very much. Love any excuse to dress up here.. and a book!
Taking children out of school for travel (or holidays if you prefer) is quite the debate right now.
As the government seem to ‘crack down’ on parental rights and attendance figures (which is a whole other topic I could get way into how damaging that is to mental wellbeing; but will not), I have ALOT of thoughts on the matter. There have been many a conversation had both in real life and online about our take on the topic and genuinely interesting debate. SO I thought I would share (some of) mine.

A time to celebrate all the ordinary simple summer moments that bring us joy and, lets be honest, help us to focus and get through the tedious nature of being in each others pockets 24/7 with the expectation to entertain every second. Spoiler, I do NOT entertain even half of every second and that is totally ok!
