Yay for summer! I am not over here to complain about the weather, nope, not one bit. Yes it’s a bit sweaty in places (sometimes places on your body you didn’t even know could sweat), yes it is a bit of a nightmare with Eva’s skin and the fact she is allergic to all but one suncream that we have found out this week has been discontinued, I mean come on…and yes sometimes everyone is a bit tired and miserable because who can sleep in a bedroom that is hotter than the sun? But oh my gosh it is glorious! The sunshine means so much more freedom and impromptu days and I simply blummin love that.

Football Football Football. That is what has pretty much dominated the last few weeks right? World Cup hope and all that. Well especially in my household as Eddy is the biggest football fan ever and will watch any match he can. I think it probably dominates his every day actually as he has a huge passion for the game no ,atter who is playing and was actually pretty good in his time, a few years and two knee operations ago that is. He is still pretty good though when he does play, he has that natural talent and scarily good knowledge that in another life might even have seen him live out his professional footballer dream.

Sports Day themed Un birthday party

For the past few years I have been saying that I would throw an ‘un birthday’ party for the girls in the summer. Basically Eva’s birthday is 5 days after Christmas and Roma’s just 4 weeks after that (great planning I know) so the organisation of parties at that time of year is complicated, stressful and somewhat expensive too. There is definitely more planning required, less choice and lets face it its just a little bit rubbish for them and for me.
