For the past few years I have been saying that I would throw an ‘un birthday’ party for the girls in the summer. Basically Eva’s birthday is 5 days after Christmas and Roma’s just 4 weeks after that (great planning I know) so the organisation of parties at that time of year is complicated, stressful and somewhat expensive too. There is definitely more planning required, less choice and lets face it its just a little bit rubbish for them and for me.
This year for the first time I thought I would write a family summer bucket list. I am going to print or write it out and put it up in the playroom so we always have something to inspire our next adventure. It isn’t full of expensive huge days out or exciting moments, nor is it
The girls have a new thing this month. A new thing which every time they say it it both breaks my heart and makes it at the same time. It somehow makes me think that even though we have bad days and lets be honest sometimes bad weeks, that this sibling journey we are on is still the best decision we ever made. You see they have been asking for another sibling.
