In the summer Eddy was asked to go to France for a month with work. He was asked to work there of course but as it is a French owned company he would also improve his French language skills. We as a whole family were lucky enough to be able to accompany him for the trip.

A French Sunset – A Night To Remember
I’ve had some pretty amazing nights in my life.
The night I threw a coin over my shoulder into the Trevi fountain in Rome and it fast became my favourite city. Where the sky was black but the buildings were mesmerizingly beautiful, lit up with the most amazing golden light mixed with the blue/green hue from the water. Where I couldn’t hear the noise of the crowds of people standing around, just the fountains splashing water down over the many many coins of good luck sitting hopefully at the bottom of the water.
Our French Adventure – The Ferry
When we first found out that we would be spending the summer in Northern France with Eddy’s work of course our first consideration was travel. With two young children and a whole month to cater for it seems a natural decision to bypass the restricted leg room and luggage allowance of a plane ride, the torture of being cooped up in the car for what would feel like days on end when the littlest isn’t exactly a huge fan and head straight to the Ferry.
