February, Honestly ? You have been a mixed month. After the excitement of celebrating a first birthday on the 1st I knew it would follow with weeks full of medical appointments, hospital visits, emotional times and little people needing us more than ever and that proved totally true.

I knew when I started blogging that the Me and Mine Project over at dear beautiful was something I wanted to join in with. I have enjoyed reading over the years and knew that we did not have enough family photos, it was something I wanted to change. Now I have the perfect incentive. I am very excited to be joining in this month for the very first time. I’m a little bit late as I wanted to capture the moment today.

Hello. I'm Elle a travel and photography obsessed Mum of two based in England. With my family lifestyle and travel blog I love to share affordable attainable travel and days out in the UK and beyond. We love to discover off the beaten track (as well as the more trodden occasionally too) experiences to see as much of the uniqueness of the world and culture as we can, around school and a corporate 9-5. Hidden gems are our jam and give me mountains and beaches over crowds and cities any day of the week. In the UK we love the outdoors, waterfalls, hikes and sharing the best of British beaches. We also adore a National Trust. Nothing better than a National Trust on a quiet Sunday. I hope to inspire and help you realise travelling with children doesn't have to compromise your travel plans.
