At the weekend the sun shone and we took the chance to visit Conkers discovery centre in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. It is an outdoor play and indoor discovery centre set in the national forest with so many activities to suit all ages. It’s somewhere we have been a fair few times before and I vividly remember going when Roma was just a week or so old.
If you have read this blog before or watch my youtube channel you may know that last year we tried glamping for the first time with Experience Freedom. You may also know therefore just how much we loved it. Naturally we thought we would have a good time but I have to admit it was even better than we could have imagined, especially for a very much none camping family like us, and by us I of course mean me!
We have had our Merlin Annual passes almost a year now and whilst we are in the process of considering whether to renew I thought I would recap over what we have experienced this year with them and if, for us, the upfront outlay has been worth while. Because there is no getting around the fact that it is alot of money. £387 to be exact.
